The fibreglass reinforcing mesh is embedded in the newly applied putty or other finishing mixture by 0.5 cm. In this way, the mesh penetrates the layer of plaster or other finishing material and turns it into a strong monolithic structure. For a complete levelling of the surface, another layer of putty or plaster is applied on top. If necessary, staples or screws can be used to install the mesh.
