The next step is to place the screed guide along a vertical line and press it into the pre-applied mixture. The mortar should seep through the holes of the screed guide. The accuracy of the screed guide installation is adjusted using a spirit level, and the structure is left to dry completely. If preferred, the screed guide is dismantled. After that, one can apply the main layer of plaster.
